A former child actor and model turned writer from the Bay Area, Tiffany’s early years in the industry included her starring in commercials and TV shows, which sparked a love for writing after experiencing a lack of Asian American roles in the industry. Raised by a Vietnamese refugee mother and a third-generation Korean American father, she grew up surrounded by vibrant cultures that directly inspire her work.
A graduate from USC’s Film and Television Production program, Tiffany’s jokes caught the eye of Prentice Penny (INSECURE, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), who selected her as part of the inaugural class of his First Up Writing Fellowship. Currently, she is the showrunner’s assistant on the Crazy Rich Asians show at HBOMax.
A lover of chocolate croissants and cara cara oranges, a June Cancer, and an eldest daughter, Tiffany infuses her comedy with warmth, exploring themes including coming of age, family dynamics, multiculturalism, relationships amongst girlies, and what it means to grow up.
